Colour is a shell that was built first in its simplest expression at the start of the artist's career. A little bit of pigment and a transparent binder were enough to tint the artist's works, creating the effect reminiscent of stained glass, glorifying the figure of the horse.
She next incorporated acrylic into her work, used in a vigorous and expressionist manner.
Third to be adopted was oil paint, with its colour patterns and its fades.
The artist’s painting style is oriented towards a personal symbolism, borrowing visual and technical codes from the history of art. The artist is in a state of perpetual questioning between tradition and modernity, and the place of "figurative" art in the current landscape of contemporary art.

La couleur est un habillage qui s'est construit d'abord par sa plus simple expression en début de carrière. Un peu de pigment et un liant transparent suffisent à teinter les œuvres de l'artiste qui rappellent alors des vitraux, à la gloire du cheval.
La matière s'est ensuite invitée avec la peinture acrylique que l'artiste utilise de manière expressionniste, vigoureuse.
L'huile s'est invitée plus tard, avec ses modelés et ses fondus. Elle est orientée vers un symbolisme personnel, empruntant des codes visuels et techniques issus de l'histoire de l'art.
L'artiste est en perpétuel questionnement entre tradition et modernité, et la place de l'art "figuratif" dans le paysage actuel de l'art contemporain.
